St Mark's United Methodist Church is a vibrant community centered around faith and beliefs. We are dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, nurturing relationships, and making a positive impact on the world around us.

Engaging our Youngest Members

At St Mark's, we believe in the importance of providing children with a nurturing environment to learn about faith and develop strong moral values. One way we achieve this is through our Children's Liturgy of the Word, a special program designed specifically for our youngest members.

Nurturing Spiritual Growth

The Children's Liturgy of the Word offers a unique opportunity for children to participate in a meaningful and age-appropriate worship experience. During our regular worship services, children are invited to gather for a simplified version of the liturgy, tailored to their understanding and needs.

Enhancing Learning Through Interactive Sessions

Our dedicated team of volunteers and educators ensure that each Children's Liturgy of the Word session is engaging and fosters an atmosphere of learning and exploration. Through interactive storytelling, songs, crafts, and discussions, children are encouraged to explore biblical teachings and their relevance to their lives.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to present the Word of God in a way that is relatable and easily understood by our young participants. We aim to inspire curiosity, spark discussions, and instill values that will guide them along their spiritual journey.

Fostering a Sense of Community

In addition to nurturing spiritual growth, the Children's Liturgy of the Word provides a platform for building a sense of community and belonging among our young members. We recognize that parents and guardians play a crucial role in the spiritual development of their children. We place great importance on working collaboratively with families to support their children's growth and provide resources to extend learning beyond our sessions.

Through regular communication, we keep parents informed about the topics covered in the Children's Liturgy of the Word and provide suggestions for further exploration at home. We create an environment where parents feel empowered to continue nurturing their children's spirituality within the family setting.
