Join us at St Mark's United Methodist Church for the upcoming Respite event on July 28th. As a church deeply rooted in serving others, we are excited to organize this event with the aim of providing support and care to those in need.

About Respite

Respite is a community event that focuses on creating a safe and supportive space for individuals and families who may be facing various challenges. Our goal is to offer respite, relief, and a sense of belonging to those who attend. This event is open to everyone, regardless of their background, faith, or circumstances.

How You Can Help

We believe in the power of community and the positive impact we can have when we come together. There are several ways you can get involved and contribute to the success of Respite:

1. Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way to actively engage with the community and make a difference in people's lives. We have a variety of volunteer roles available, including:

  • Event Setup and Decoration: Help create a welcoming and comforting environment for attendees by assisting with the setup and decoration of the event space.
  • Registration and Sign-In: Greet and guide participants as they arrive, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Food and Refreshments: Support the food and beverage stations, ensuring everyone is taken care of and has access to nourishment.
  • Activity Assistants: Engage with attendees, participate in activities together, and create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Clean-Up Crew: Help with post-event cleanup, ensuring that the space is left tidy and ready for the next event.

2. Donations

If you are unable to volunteer but still wish to contribute, we gladly accept donations. Your support allows us to provide essential resources and services to those in need.

3. Spread the Word

Help us make a greater impact by spreading the word about Respite. Share the event details with your friends, family, and community members who might be interested in attending or volunteering. Together, we can reach more people and extend our support.
