Building Strong Foundations for Faith and Family

At St Mark’s United Methodist Church, we believe that children are the future and nurturing their spiritual growth is of utmost importance. Our Children's and Family ministry is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where families can come together to explore their faith, build strong foundations, and grow as a community.

Programs and Activities

Our Children's and Family ministry offers a wide range of programs and activities designed to meet the needs of children and their families. We understand that every child is unique and we strive to provide a variety of engaging opportunities for spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School program is tailored to different age groups, ensuring that each child receives age-appropriate teaching and nurturing. Through interactive lessons, games, and discussions, children learn about the teachings of Jesus, biblical stories, and how to apply these lessons to their daily lives. Our dedicated teachers are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment that encourages questions and fosters a love for God.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer, we host an exciting Vacation Bible School (VBS) program that brings together children from the community for a week of fun, learning, and fellowship. With engaging activities, music, crafts, and lessons, VBS provides a unique opportunity for children to explore their faith in a dynamic and interactive way.

Family Events

We organize regular family events that encourage fellowship and strengthen the bonds within our community. From family picnics to movie nights, these events create opportunities for families to connect, share their experiences, and build lasting friendships.

Resources for Families

As part of our commitment to supporting families in their faith journeys, we provide various resources to help parents, grandparents, and caregivers nurture their children's spiritual growth.

Parenting Workshops

We offer educational workshops on topics such as effective parenting, instilling values, and fostering a healthy family environment. These workshops equip parents with practical tools and strategies to navigate the joys and challenges of raising children in today's world.

Family Devotionals

To encourage daily spiritual practices within the family, we provide family devotionals that include Bible verses, thought-provoking questions, and discussion points. These devotionals facilitate meaningful conversations about faith, values, and life lessons, bringing families closer together.
