St Mark's United Methodist Church is thrilled to offer you the opportunity to become a part of our Scripture Readers/Storytellers community. As a volunteer in this ministry, you will have the chance to connect with others who share a passion for spreading the message of faith and beliefs through the power of storytelling and scripture reading.

At St Mark's United Methodist Church, we believe in harnessing the power of storytelling to convey timeless messages of faith, hope, and spiritual growth.

As a Scripture Reader/Storyteller volunteer, you will have the opportunity to share biblical stories, parables, and passages in a way that engages and connects with our congregation. Your words will bring these sacred texts to life, allowing individuals to deepen their understanding and find personal meaning within the scriptures.

Make a Difference in Our Community

By joining our Scripture Readers/Storytellers team, you will contribute to the spiritual growth and enrichment of our community. Your dedicated efforts will help individuals develop a stronger connection to their faith and beliefs.

Through your storytelling skills and heartfelt delivery, you will inspire and motivate not only during worship services but also during various church events, such as retreats, celebrations, and community outreach programs. Become a Volunteer

We invite individuals of all ages and backgrounds to become Scripture Readers/Storytellers at St Mark's United Methodist Church. No prior experience is required; all that is needed is a passion for storytelling and a desire to share the message of faith.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to attend workshops and training sessions where you can enhance your storytelling skills and deepen your knowledge of scriptures. Our welcoming community will support you throughout your journey, offering guidance and mentorship as you grow in your role as a Scripture Reader/Storyteller.

By becoming a volunteer, you will not only bless others with your storytelling abilities but also experience personal and spiritual growth. You will develop a deeper connection with your faith and beliefs while forging meaningful relationships with fellow volunteers and our congregation.
