Introduction

Welcome to St Mark’s United Methodist Church! We are a vibrant and inclusive faith community dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. Our church, located in the heart of Bay Presbyterian Church, is a place where all are welcome to embrace their spirituality and connect with a community that supports and uplifts one another.

Our Beliefs

At St Mark’s United Methodist Church, our beliefs are the foundation of our community. We believe in:

The Triune God

As United Methodists, we believe in the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We worship one God who exists in three distinct persons. This belief forms the core of our faith and guides us in our daily lives.

The Teachings of Jesus Christ

We strive to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and model our lives after his example of love, compassion, and service. Jesus taught us to love one another, care for the marginalized, and seek justice and peace in all circumstances.

The Bible as Our Guide

The Bible holds great significance for us. We view it as the inspired word of God and a guide for our faith and actions. Through scripture, we find wisdom, comfort, and guidance for navigating life's challenges.

Social Justice and Inclusion

As a community rooted in love, we are committed to social justice and inclusion. We embrace diversity and strive to create a welcoming environment for people of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. We believe in advocating for equality, fighting against discrimination, and addressing systemic injustices.
