Join Our Vibrant Music Ministry

At St Mark’s United Methodist Church, we believe in the power of music to bring people together and deepen our connection with our faith. Our Special Groups offer a diverse range of musical programs that enrich our worship experience and foster a sense of community. Whether you are an experienced musician or a beginner, there is a group that resonates with your interests and talents.

Choir Ensembles: Harmonize in Unity

Our choir ensembles form the heart of our music ministry. From our adult choir to our youth choir, these groups come together to create harmonious melodies that enhance our worship services. Led by talented and passionate choir directors, our ensembles rehearse regularly to deliver inspiring performances.

  • Adult Choir: Join our Adult Choir if you have a love for singing and want to contribute your voice to our worship services. Open to all church members above the age of 18, this group rehearses on Thursdays at 7 PM. Experience the joy of blending your voice with others in praise and worship.
  • Youth Choir: Our Youth Choir is the perfect place for young members of our congregation to explore their musical talents. If you are between the ages of 12 and 18, we welcome you to join this inspiring group. Experience the power of music as we come together to spread love and joy through our voices.

Instrumental Ensembles: Embrace the Melody

For those who possess instrumental skills, our church offers a variety of instrumental ensembles. These groups provide an opportunity to showcase your talents and contribute to our worship services in a unique and expressive way.

  • Orchestra: Our church orchestra welcomes musicians of all skill levels who play orchestral instruments such as violin, viola, cello, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. Experience the joy of making music together as we create harmonious symphonies to uplift our congregation during worship.
  • Handbell Choir: The Handbell Choir is a unique ensemble that utilizes the beautiful sound of bells to create enchanting melodies. No prior experience is necessary, and we provide training and support for beginners. Join this group and add a touch of magic to our worship services.

Contemporary Worship Band: Unleash Your Creativity

Our Contemporary Worship Band is an integral part of our modern worship services. If you are a talented instrumentalist or vocalist with a passion for contemporary Christian music, this is the perfect group for you to showcase your skills and contribute to the uplifting atmosphere of our contemporary services.
