Our Pastors

Pastor Nancy

The Rev. Nancy Day-Achauer came to St. Mark's in July 2012. She has a passion for mission, both local and global, and loves sharing the love of Jesus Christ and his message of compassion, justice and forgiveness for all of God's children. Pastor Nancy is an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church serving the West Ohio Conference.

In addition to her ministry of making disciples of Jesus Christ, she is actively engaged in revitalizing the Westland/Prairie Township community where she serves. Pastor Nancy is a founding member of the Community Health Action Team, serves as a Commissioner on the Westland Area Commission, is a Board Member of the Westland Area Business Association and a Corporate Member of the Greater Hilltop Area Shalom Zone. She even organizes the local Independence Day Parade!

Prior to entering the ordained ministry, Pastor Nancy worked in corporate America in San Francisco, CA and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. After years of serving as a volunteer in the local church, she answered God's call to ordained ministry. Pastor Nancy quit her job, sold her home, and moved across the country to attend the Methodist Theological School in Ohio where she obtained her Master of Divinty with a Specialization in Mission and Evangelism in 2008. Pastor Nancy has previously served on the Children's Ministries staff of Powell United Methodist Church and has pastored York Center United Methodist Church, New Dover United Methodist Church, and Ostrander United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Juan Bustos is our Associate Pastor of Hispanic Ministries. He is an experienced church planter who is building an extensive ministry with the Hispanic/Latino community of Columbus' far westside. He comes to us from San Jose, Costa Rica where he graduated from Seminario Nazareno de las Americas. He lives on the westside with his family who are also actively engaged in his ministry.
